God Still Answers Prayers

I know it has been a long time since I have put in a lengthy post. Things have been so busy! And all because of God's blessings. God has been so good to me. The name of my website is "God Will Make A Way" and the reason that I named it that is because there have been so many times that I have seen God make a way out of no way. In other words, there have been many situations where it seemed like there was no way things would work out, but God stepped in right on time and worked things out like no one else could have ever done. Well, He has done it again!! For months now I have been praying for a job. I haven't worked since December 19, 2003. God has blessed me just in the fact that there is really no possible way that I should have made it this long without having any income. But GOD HAS MADE A WAY. I might be a little behind on things right now, but my family has not had to do without. We have always had lights, and water, and a phone and a place to live and food to eat and a car to get around in. And all without me having any steady income whatsoever. There's no way I could have made it without God!! But I have been wanting to work and needing the income and so I have been looking and praying for months now but it seemed like there was nothing out there. I have sent off over 2 dozen resumes and signed up with 4 different temporary agencies, and........nothing. I have called about jobs every day and went out several days a week putting in applications at different places, and......nothing. The employment section of the classified ads have been daily reading material for me. And for months I haven't even gotten a call back for an interview. We are still trying to start up the daycare at the church but that hasn't worked out either. But I hadn't given up hope. Even though it was hard at times, I still had the faith that God would send me a job when HE was ready. Well, Monday I got a call from one of the temporary agencies....they had a job for me! They had told me about it the week before but I had been calling every day to see what the company's decision was, but they kept telling me they hadn't heard anything. So to make an already long story short...I started Tuesday with a local service company! The people there are wonderful, I am good at the job, the pay is good, it is only about 10 minutes from my home.....I couldn't ask for more! But I said all that to emphasize the fact that God has once again made a way out of no way. He took a situation where there seemed to be no hope and turned it into something wonderful. Don't you just love how God has a way of doing just that with situations in your life? He can step in at the darkest moment and make everything around you all better. What a mighty God we serve!! But I had also prayed that God would not just send me a job, but that He would get glory from whatever He did. So that's what I want to do: give HIM the glory!! Because He is worthy of all our praise. Without Him, my life would be hopeless. But with Him, ALL things are possible!! So before I finish this journal entry, I want to make a few points. I don't know what your situation is, but God knows and He is the one (the ONLY one) that can fix the situation you are in. Whether it's money problems, sickness, or whatever, GOD WILL MAKE A WAY!!! So I am going to leave you with a few verses of scripture that capture exactly what I am trying to tell you......that God will make a way!

Matthew 21:22 - "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
Don't just ASK for it....you have to BELIEVE that you will get it and God said He would give it to you!! Notice it says "ALL THINGS", not just some things!

Psalm 37:4 - "Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."
If you will serve God fully He will give you what your heart longs for!

Matthew 6:8 - "Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."
God knows what you stand in need of before you even ask Him!

Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
Don't ever say you can't, because God says you CAN!

Matthew 7:11 - "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?"
Think of how good you try to be to your own children, but sometimes you still can't give them everything they ask for. But our Heavenly Father can and will give us whatever we ask for!

Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose"
If you love God and serve Him you can rest assured that everything in your life will work together so that good will come out of it!

**And one more to leave you with....this one is totally self-explanatory:
John 16:33 - "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Doesn't that just make you want to shout???


Just remember, whatever you are going through, God is always the answer and He always comes right on time. Never give up. Keep the faith that God will do what He said He would do. God WILL make a way! Until next time, be blessed....
