Urgent Prayer for Lloyd

Please pray for Lloyd Feltz. He just got out of the hospital day before yesterday and now he is back in there and he is not doing well. He really needs your prayers. Please pass this along so many can pray.

Urgent Prayer Request for Baby Dwight

Please pray for my friend Annie's little baby, Dwight Davis. He is only a few months old and had to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance because he stopped breathing. Please pass this on so many can be praying! I will update you all when I find out more. Thanks and God bless.

Opening tomorrow in theatres is a movie marketed towards children titled "The Golden Compass" starring Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Kevin Bacon, Eva Green, and John Hurt.

This film is an adaptation of part of an objectionable trilogy of novels. Titled His Dark Materials, the books were written to be an influential atheistic counterpart to "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Lord of the Rings." They are aimed at children and were written by anti-God activist Phillip Pullman who was featured in the 2005 documentary series "Why Atheism?". He is described as "one of England's most outspoken atheists" by New Yorker journalist Laura Miller.

Pullman said in an interview, "My books are about killing God. If we're talking on the scale of human life and the things we see around us, I'm an atheist. There's no God here. There never was. Jeremiah 32:27

I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Commentary
The answer God gave is a summary of everything He had proclaimed through Jeremiah to this point-His judgment on the sin of Judah and His promise to restore them in the future. What Jeremiah needed was a reminder. This principle of remembrance and repetition of truth is a biblical one (Deut. 6:4-9, 20-25).
